Eyelet Heading Measuring Guide
Measuring for Curtain Poles (Eyelet Heading)
To measure for curtains with a wooden/metal pole at the window for Eyelet heading.

Width - Measure the total width of your pole not including the end finials (not the window size). We recommend with eyelet heading having at least 1½ times the width of you window for adequate fullness, e.g. if your pole is 88" wide then a pair of curtains each measuring 66" wide would be suitable. If the size is in-between curtain sizes then use the next size up. Ready made Eyelet curtains are designed to be used with poles up to 35mm thick.
Drop - place your measure at the top of the pole and drop the measure to the point where you would like the curtains to drape to (Please see the diagram above). If measuring to the floor, a radiator or window sill we recommend leaving ½" clearance.
Measuring for Valances - Valances are not suited to be used with a pole.
